Excerpt. Project researchers have used major finance, entrepreneurship and management conferences to discuss BAC4SHC themes and emerging findings.
BAC4SHC researchers have engaged with international academic communities through conferences in finance, entrepreneurial finance and management. The project report records participation in the Academy of Management 2025 in Copenhagen, the Global Finance Conference 2025 in Boston, ENTFIN 2026 in Marseille, EFMA 2026 in Kristiansand and FMA Europe 2026 in Braga.
These exchanges have supported discussion of the project’s research focus and preliminary findings, while strengthening links with scholars working on business angels, crowdfunding, startup performance, innovation, gender and sustainability.
Research is also progressing through working papers, including “Who backs women? Business angels’ traits and investment in female entrepreneurship” by Vincenzo Capizzi, Nicola Carta, Elena Danzo and Francesca Tenca.
